Provencal Elegance at Mas des Costes: A Fine Art Wedding Captured with Emotion

As soon as I arrived at Mas des Costes, I was struck by the beauty of the estate, nestled in the heart of the Alpilles. Its varied spaces and authentic charm make it an exceptional venue for a Provençal wedding. To immortalize the grandeur and splendor of the place, I started with aerial drone shots, offering a unique perspective on this idyllic setting.
The bride’s preparations were a moment filled with serenity and sweet excitement. In the bridal suite, every detail was carefully documented, from the delicate bouquet to the tastefully chosen accessories. Marion Lhote, a talented makeup artist and hairstylist, enhanced the bride with her expertise, and our usual collaboration created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. During this precious time, I also made sure to capture the essence of the estate, so that every corner of Mas des Costes would be an integral part of the couple’s memories.
Shortly after, the warm and complicit atmosphere of the groom’s preparations with his groomsmen offered moments of laughter and camaraderie, which I enjoyed immortalizing.
The moment the wedding dress was put on was filled with pure emotion, a poignant prelude to the day ahead. I then had the privilege of an exclusive photoshoot with the bride before the ceremony, capturing her elegance and grace in the Provençal light. The meticulously prepared decor of the secular ceremony also received my attention, with each element contributing to the overall visual harmony.
The secular ceremony, held in the dedicated space of Mas des Costes, was a true concentration of emotions, laughter, and tears of joy. I was accompanied by Solange Grenna, a videographer with whom I form a creative and effective duo, ensuring complete and harmonious coverage of this unique day.
After the intensity of the ceremony, it was time for group photos in a friendly atmosphere, followed by a lively cocktail hour near the pool. A band set the stage on fire, creating a festive and relaxed atmosphere, under the watchful eye of caterer Mina Kouk who delighted the guests. It was also during the cocktail hour that I took more aerial shots, offering dynamic views of the celebration from the sky, as well as precious family photos.
The moment I particularly cherish arrived with the sunset: the couple’s session. The golden light of late afternoon at Mas des Costes, bathing the magnificent cypress alley, created a magical backdrop for intimate images filled with sincere emotions and shared laughter. This moment of complicity truly produced sublime photographs, true to my fine art wedding photographer style.
Before the couple’s entrance for dinner, I took the time to photograph the dining area, beautifully decorated with furniture from Terre d’Ocre, revealing the attention to every detail. Here again, a unique perspective was offered through drone photos of the dinner space.
The evening continued in the dance area, where Brice Adel set the floor alight, inviting everyone to celebrate love until the end of the night.
